The Death of Skellår the Apprentice

Skellår was a survivor. Tested and proven: He escaped Quasqueton alive when not many did, taking with him a powerful runed spear.

On his last day alive, Skellår and his companions were on to a new delve, exploring the Caves of Chaos. On the right slope of the cave-riddled gorge, the crew spotted a promising entrance. They formed up in good order and plunged in, Skellår was rear guard, protected and protecting. The crew knew his value.

Eyes squinting the darkness, the fighters up front reported a short tunnel ending a t-junction. The wall facing them was covered with skulls.
